Un jour, Walter, très stressé, s'effondre et perd connaissance. Sur recommandation médicale, il quitte la ville et s'installe dans un paisible village en pleine nature. Mais cette promesse de tranquillité est mise à mal par un voisin, Toninho da Vila, qui anime une école de samba juste à côté de chez lui.
